Schwarz Stein was a Japanese electronic band, formed by Hora and Kaya in 2001 as "Rudolf Steiner", and disbanded in 2004.

Schwarz Stein was a solely electronic-based duo, creating a variety of decadent and broodingly dark (at times) songs during their three years of activity. The group consisted of two members; Kaya (ex-ISOLA) and Hora (ex-Velvet Eden), who originally worked together under the name Rudolf Steiner in 2001. 2002 saw the band signed to Moi dix Mois leader Mana's record label Midi:Nette, and upon their joining, had renamed the duo "Schwarz Stein" (pseudo-German for "Black Stone").

Prior to their name change, two demo tapes (Queen of Decadence and Perfect Garden) had been released. A re-worked version of Perfect Garden was later released as their Midi:Nette debut single. They went on to release their debut album New Vogue Children in June 2003, the single Current in November of the same year, and their final album Artificial Hallucination in February 2004. They opened for Mana's solo project Moi dix Mois a few times and played in several multiple-band shows, as well as making several solo appearances. More ..?

Kaya & Hora, Side project: Another Cell
A collaboration CD "Another Cell" was released in April 2006, limited to 1000 copies and only available for order through Kaya's official site. This limited edition CD features features re-mixed/re-worked versions of Rudolf Steiner's "kuro ageha" and Hora's "FROZEN PAST" and "INNER UNIVERSE" which make up three of the eight tracks. It should be noted that this is a one-time-only collaboration and not a reunion of Schwarz Stein.

Kaya is a Japanese musician, known for his role as the vocalist of the now defunct Visual Kei duo Schwarz Stein (2001-2004). Kaya had used the name "Hime" prior to joining Schwarz Stein (which went by the name Rudolph Steiner at the time of its founding). Currently pursuing a solo career, Kaya is also known for his eccentric, androgynous dress and his unique vocal talents. Kaya's has released 3 singles and 1 album.

Hora (born May 10) is a Japanese musician, most famous for being the keyboards player and programmer of the Visual Kei duo Schwarz Stein (2001-2004).

He started writing music when he was 16, he wrote songs like INNER UNIVERSE and Transient back then. Hora started his career in 2000 by playing keyboards for Velvet Eden. He left a year later and formed Schwarz Stein (known as Rudolf Steiner at time of founding) with ex-ISOLA member Kaya.

He contributed to Schwarz Stein by composing all of the music, which is one of the founding pillars for his solo career, since the similarities between his solo career and Schwarz Stein are clear. The synthesizer sounds and dark melodies Hora uses for his solo are also present in Schwarz Stein's material. However, Hora's solo works are composed without the requirement of a vocalist. More ..?

Woah, this was such a lengthy music post! I wanted to do this all together because it was of the same artists, so basically, the music style was the same! I think they're both great artists! As a duo and them as solo artists! I found a useful translation/diary translation/romaiji site for the works of hora&kaya. [click]

This took me all night and all day, no really, it did! The rips are at 320kbps, meaning they're of the best quality and uploaded all for you guys! The file sizes are quite big. I don't think any of them are over 100MB thouugh. Comes close to it. I think most of them are 90's. & the singles, with like, only 2 songs are 20MB+

These .rar's are NOT DIAL-UP FRIENDLY!

& seeing i've got the rest of the week off, because i've finished my exams! :D

Here i am, another music post! I share with you this time, DEADMAN (this is close to their whole disco, excluding the DVD's)!

Deadman began its existence at the end of 2000. The band was formed by the members of two bands that had recently ceased to exist - Mako, aie and Yukino had previously played together in Kein, and Toki came to Deadman from Lamiel. The group's members had known each other for a long time - aie used to play in Lamiel, and so did Kein's ex-guitarist, Ruka. In a way, Lamiel supplied Kein with musicians. Ruka, who was a guitarist in Lamiel, joined Kein as a bassist. After he left the band, his place was taken over by aie, and only Toki was missing from the line up of what was to become Deadman.  The only musician who was not previously friends with the others was Mako. Despite his undeniable vocal talent, he didn't plan to become a musician at first.  more .. ?

Metronome is a gamewave/visual kei band that was formed in 1998. They claimed to have come from the year 2005 to boost their record sales. Metronome began in August 1998. Throughout the course of their history, they have quite a few lineup changes. Despite the lineup changes, the band released their first demo 8bit girls bravo. However just a few months later, they found themselves without an official bassist, due to more band problems.

In 2000, Metronome held their first concert. However, during this year, Kemumaki decided to leave the band and Metronome was left without a drummer. Despite not having a drummer and bassist, Metronome persisted, and put out two more demos, and launched another tour. In April of that year, .. more ?

Because i am terribly bored/fustrated/annoyed&100otherthingsallinone, and is not in the slightest mood to study and/or revise for exams on Wednesday, i bring you Mask Discography and uh, basically a review of them and their music.

    MASK was an amalgam of members from former visual projects. Their music was a unique mix of cutesy oshare tunes slashed together with hard edged rock. They had numerous releases in their rather short career and they never failed to please their fans with their crazy, and adorable, personalities and antics.
    MASK was originally formed in June 2003 with the lineup of: Aoi (ex Shedde and Cynical Biscuit) on vocals, Michiru (ex Aioria, L’yse:nore, S to M, etc.) and Sana (ex De+Myth) on guitars, Kazutake (ex Clair de Lune, Laissez Faire and Aioria) on bass, and NANA (ex Crad le Marry) on drums.  In my opinion, MASK was a very talented band with great musical potential. Their songs, melodies and beats are not only refreshing, but something unique that'll please anyone within the jrock sphere. Their music falls under many sub-genres of this whole rock phase. Whether it be Alternative rock, heavy, screamo, whack, oshare, visual, grunge- the lot - i was still pleased with their sound. Up until this day, i haven't a clue why they disbanded, just the rumours that they all had different paths that they wanted to follow, thus, lead to their disbanding after their last live at Zepp Tokyo one-man May 1st. Though i don't buy it, because erk- come on! T_T. This is what the original disbanding announcement read:

" Activity was done from 2004 August 23rd, "MASK" having the live
of Zepp Tokyo 2006 May 1st, the member 5 person (exhausting and SANA,
not yet scattering, the harmony halberd, MINAMI) we graduate from
MASK. Because when while presently is member respective goal, such as
sense of value and directivity are different with the fact that, it is
difficult to continue activity, everyone judged the reason of
graduation, is. However, this is not backward judgement under any
condition, is the result of the forward discussion. It is not the
criss cross of opinion, it means that each member, advances on the
road which is different facing toward the goal which you aim. Zepp
Tokyo one-man May 1st, becomes the last performance which stands in
stage with the current 5 people.

That also in the future watching over the trend member 5 warmly, we
ask from heart.

As promised stated, this post is indeed, a discography! & yes, Lolita23Q's Discography! Are you ready for this?

Lolita23q (whose full japanese written name is 'shoujo loliita nijuu-san ku') is a band considered as part of the oshare scene. The label however describes their look rather than their sound. Colourful clothes, abundance of accessories, loud make up - these are definitely some of Lolita's characteristics. But don't let their apparent cuteness misguide you - their music might get pretty heavy and rough at times.

It's worth perhaps pointing out how many of the colourful oshare bands seem to be connected in one way or the other, and this group may serve as a perfect example. Before Lolita23q, Sou was in Various Ray with Irokui's guitarist, Hazuki. Yu≠ki played in Kublick together with the future vocalist of HeaRt, Leon's bassit and Zeek's drummer. In Unbrella, Ryosuke performed with Luvie's Temari and Kazoku's Kaiji, he was also the support guitarist for Mei (the members of which went on to create bis and Kamikaze Boyz), and he and BAN met already in their previous band, Yoidore. Nega is one of the newest additions to the Under Code Production label and probably the most experimental visual band in the actual scene. Their music ranges from decadent, hardcore influenced songs to atmospheric instrumentals and emotional mid-tempos with strangely melodious guitars.  Nega was born as a duo project in December 2004 by bassist Ray(ex-Aliene Ma'riage and Vinett) and vocalist Jin.

The band's first release was a demo CD called Yoru ni Aru Kibou, Asa ni Kuru Zetsubou. Shortly after, drummer Yuu(ex-DHIANA) joined the band and, after participating in an omnibus CD, they released their first mini album THE Faded Film of a Japanese Sadness. (Author : Hansi 2007-03-31) more .. ?
